The Maggot Chair is part of my mid-term projects at KISD. It is an investigation into intuitive and improvisational production methods for furniture design. This project marks the beginning of my Lassez-faire attidude to material behavior and my urge to plan aimlessness. The carving process followed the maggots in the wrongly stored tree trunk from my parent’s garden.
